This is fake news
Imagine if they had started playing it and Steven pulled off his face, revealing that he is actually William Ryan Key.
Got two (2) tickets for Anberlin at the Fillmore Silver Spring, MD
Fiancé bought them for us before I did way back when this was announced. Looking for $80 for both. PayPal/Venmo/whatever. It’s $83 after fees on ticketmaster for 2, just looking to move them.
Was at the show in Dallas. Here's the set.
but its cool
Dang, no Readyfuels and only one Vital song.
Still a great set with lots of classics (“Time & Confusion” holds a very special place in my heart) but sub We Are Destroyer for one BFBM cut and another song from Vital, and it’s pitch perfect.
Regarding the sound...it was off for quite a bit of the show. The first 6-8 songs, I couldn't hear what the song was until Stephen started singing. And even then, it took a bit.
On Inevitable, he brought up a fan to sing most of the song. It was actually my first time seeing that song live (and my first Anberlin show in 11 years). Does that normally happen?
There was one song in the We Are Destroyer set where Christian's guitar solo was completely off in the mix. Basically once it started, it boomed over everything.
Nearly every time I’ve seen them they haven’t been great. Still bought tickets lol I want vital in full though lol
Still holding out hope some extra tickets go on sale for Seattle next week. I couldn't get them when they went onsale and Stubhub is still at 2X face value right now.
Really happy that it is heavy on the oldies. I didn't listen to anything after Cities. I was expecting to go in clueless.
Shoot. I'm in Tri-Cities for work for the month of June and I've been debating if I should buy an overpriced ticket and ahead over to Seattle. Decisions decisions
Tonight!! I’m hyped as fuck. Stoked to see my homies I The Mighty opening too.
That was an incredible show. The band seemed super happy to have such a sold-out show and the fans were ecstatic... the energy was amazing.
One question... can someone explain the Ryan Mendez from Yellowcard fill-in situation to me? He was still with them last night... which member is he filling in for and what’s the situation with that?
He's filling in for Milligan. Can't recall why but I remember reading he was supposed to be back for the U.S. tour. Guess he isn't...yet.
LA show was great, they had incredible energy, wish it was at a not shit venue and I could have actually have heard Stephen but,,,, it happens.
Ended up getting a ticket through stubhub. Worth it to see these guys, I guess. Anybody know if Milligan is back? Or what the merch table looks like?
At the LA show Ryan Mendez was still filling in.
My sister saw them in Sacramento on Tuesday and said they were amazing. I'm sooo stoked for this to hit the east coast.
Milligan is back! Also, my first time seeing them in 10 years (New Surrender cycle) and they were incredible. Worth StubHub prices.
Yeah, another amazing night of great bands dominating the Seattle nightlife. Only salty that they skipped over Time & Confusion. Other than that: perfect-o.
Wait, did we both go to Jimmy eat world and Anberlin in Seattle this week?
Kicking off summer right, aren’t we? I was in the back bar all last night, slowly driving others away with my frantic air drumming lol
I’ll be at Coheed tomorrow! And PUP on Tuesday! Lmk if you are too!
I guess Blake from I The Mighty had to fill in on drums for them tonight? What was that all about?
Wonder if it’s something to do with Nate opening the King State Coffee shop in FL. He’s been posting lots on Instagram about it and I think last night was a big family and friends party there before they open to the public next week.
Wish I was going :(
