Also, website now has a tour section under the image. Only thing listed is that Florida date but... maaaaaybe there will be more at some point?
Yeah I have that feeling too. Seems like there's a lot going on for just one show. EDIT: also this was announced on a Thursday, and new music is released on Friday. Would not be surprised in the least if a single drops.
I mean, IDC either way. But they were pretty adamant that they'd never play shows again and you needed to come see them on that last tour. It was your last chance. Honestly, we as Anberlin will never play another show. It would have to be such grandiose circumstances to change that, somebody sick, or something that's just overwhelming that we couldn't say no to. But I think it would take away from the legacy that we built, or tried to build anyway, as Anberlin, and I think it would take away from these shows if we were like "2018 we're going to do a reunion!" If they are going to be back, I'd be down for new music, but wouldn't mind to know why they are back.
I always take those comments with a grain of salt. The band might not have known how much they would miss it until they took a step back as if the band was ending.
I would be very surprised if we had new music before 2019! I love that the quote actually says 2018. I had never seen a band talk in such strong terms and I’m honestly surprised that they’re back.
My body is ready for anything. But I’m not traveling to that show. I’m stoked they are playing. I would love more music.

So this is really cool. Truly. But if my favorite band is going to go back on their word and risk tarnishing their legacy, I want to personally benefit from it!
I'm too easily amused, but I love how out of touch this post looks coming right after the big news was posted.
Quote from the Underoath press release: "We've been playing shows in the Tampa area with Anberlin since we were basically kids," Underoath said."We knew them coming back to play this hometown show with us was a big ask — but it just felt right. We have said we couldn't be more pumped to close out the 'Erase Me' tour with this show in our hometown. But we've been proven wrong." "All the Anberlin dudes reconnected over this last year, hung on the beach together, and then, when we got asked to play this show with Underoath, in our hometown, the answer was 'yeah!,'" said Anberlin drummer Nathan Young. "I mean why wouldn't we do that? Life is short and we should almost always say 'yes' to rad stuff. Plus, we've been homies with Underoath for 15-plus years. [Guitarist] Tim [McTague] is my brother-in-law and we've never played a proper show together. It's just way overdue."
