Anberlin Share Matty Mullins Vocal Clip

i don’t hate it but man, it’s so weird.

 

Not bad. On a side note, I miss when Anberlin made the heavier rock influenced songs like this. Such a great album.

 

Yeah this album and Cities are their best work by far. Wonder if they will go back to that sound.

 

I'm only a casual Anberlin fan, but vocals aside, is it the original version? Sounds much harder than I remember.

 

I'd be down for them to re-record their most played songs with Matty for the sake of consistency for live shows.

Was never into Anberlin so I have no idea how this translates from the original.

 

I had to go on wikipedia to understand what was happening with Anberlin and SC.
After hearing the clip, I am genuinely looking forward to the next tour

 

Some comments over there just amaze me hahh. People asking them to make a live stream of all their hits fo 10$, cause they're not sure if they're gonna want to buy the tickets for the tour hahah or somebody just saying directly on the guy's instagram "love matty, but i'm not sure this is his gig". Wow yeah, they will definitely change their decision now

 

So as a new listener, what are your thoughts?

 

Surely if the first snippet of Matty in Anberlin is from the title track on NTFP, then this means "heavier" Anberlin is the route their planning to go down? Maybe I'm looking into it too much?!
