Already had all the albums, but picked up the set for the billed remastering. New artwork's a plus, too.
Dang. They're about the bring in a couple hundred thousand bucks. Obviously costs and splits but still.
With a band the size of Anberlin, what is the point in limiting the number of copies? I understand these are a lot of vinyl and vinyl is expensive/time consuming/risky, but 1000 seems like it will sell out very quickly and I would think they would sell out even if it was 5000 and not leave fans disappointed who miss out.
Almost $200? I cannot justify that. It's that insane in price since with shipping it averages out to $24 a record but.. yeah I can't.. I do miss these guys though! I wish Lowborn was a better record for them to end on. Vital was such a beast of a record so its a shame the follow up couldn't be as good (to me at least).
Where do you live? If in the US, shipping is free...at least it was this morning. $165 shipped is not awful.
Oh I was exaggerating a tad cause I thought it was 170 altogether. It's not bad at all when you break down the cost of each vinyl. Just don't know if I could afford that for a box set. It is tempting!
Went ahead and pulled the trigger on this. Let me know if you OG copies of NTFP, DITW, Vital, or Lowborn.
Anyone have any idea as to when this thing will actually ship? I know it's a pre-order and will be a bit, but I couldn't find anything with a general date to look forward to.
