Phew, glad I caught them in LA before Seth jumped on the tour. What a depressing Milkshake Duck he turned out to be.

Disappointing the Northeast gets The Almost and Watashi Wa and everyone else got Copeland and The Dangerous Summer/Spitalfield.

I grew up loving Anberlin, but not a fan of the new stuff with Matty. Anberlin was unique LITERALLY because their singer had one of the most unique voices you'll ever hear. That being said, the new Memphis May Fire album with Matty is a 10/10 and I legit think it's the album of the year so far. So if I'm him, I'm stepping away from Anberlin. I don't think that's where the future is for him. Maybe that's an unpopular opinion.

Interesting. Never heard of this guy until seeing him with Anberlin and no offense but I was there to see Copeland and after a song or two my buddy and I noped out of there real fast. But I’m sure he was chosen for a reason so I’ll check out his other band.

Oh fun! Last time I saw Watashi Wa was with Anberlin on the Tooth and Nail tour in 2004! Haven’t thought about them in a long time.
All of Me is still a banger.

Agreed re: All of Me, but their lead singer turned into a right-wing nutter at some point and spent his peak COVID days being ridiculously toxic on Twitter, so I’ve unfortunately had to nope out of patronizing the band any further.
