That schedule looks solid to me, but hot damn, Despised Icon and Poison The Well clashing would have been one of my toughest conflicts at any show ever.

It's funny because I enjoyed Sat a trillion times more than Friday. Could be because I had figured out spending the entire day in the scorching heat would leave me with no energy for the end of the night or how to easily to around the venue and to better spots.

Yeah I'll be honest I was pretty beat as well. My campsite was just off the main strip (across the street from the grocery store), facing the venue so we were able to watch Rise Against and Limp Bizkit on the main stage seated at our campsite. Arriving Thursday afternoon and staying until Sunday morning makes for a very long weekend.

So this guy (who neglected to identify himself) must be a crew member or something? Honestly, he sort of just comes off as a prima donna. Like what do you expect in the way of accommodations in a town that normally has a population of less than 1,000 people... He complains about the length of their set (which they agreed to contractually) and how the band was treated but it just sort of comes off like they were expected to be treated like royalty (which is likely what they've grown accustomed to). At the end of the day, there are likely 10-15 bands bigger than Twisted Sister on the bill which all draw better and they probably got treated about as well as any other band on that stage. Tough.

I agree with a lot of what you said. That being said, I do believe the festival has gotten too big for its own good. Having been to several large scale festivals over the years this one was by far the worst run and from what I've heard this year was substantially better than years past. The only reason I went this year and would consider going again is the amazing lineups they put together. Also, the stage really wasn't that small at all...and had substantially better sound than the main stage.

You're probably right. I had a great time this year as well as last year so I can't complain about any of the planning and managing of the event but I think the town is just not equipped to handle this many people and bands. However, this is the first band I've heard complain about the festival and I think more than anything it speaks to the difference in ethos between punk/metal DIY and whatever entitled 80's glam rock/hair metal scene spawned Twisted Sister. I think the fact that many of the bands have played multiple times shows that they're probably treated better than this article would have you believe.

Watched about 3 minutes of Twisted Sister just for the hell of it. They were bitching about how they had multiple number 1 songs/albums in Canada and only got a 45 minute set. They did have a huge crowd probably the only person who had a bigger crowd on the Jager stage was Ice Cube but still the only band complaining about their experience.

I was extremely disappointed earlier today to read the comments made by Twister Sister’s blogger after their show at Amnesia Rockfest 2016. We contacted the band’s team as soon as we became aware of these comments, and they immediately decided to remove the blog post outlining their dissatisfaction. However, I think it’s important that we set the record straight to prevent misunderstandings. In the 11 years of the festival, I have never seen anything like this. No member of the Twisted Sister camp contacted me at any point during or after the festival to express any concerns -- we are always open to constructive criticism and improvement. I could tell the other side of the story. I could explain how running a festival with 130 bands over two days works and how our entire team makes serious efforts to accommodate them all, rather than giving priority to a single band. I could mention that all the logistical information was sent to performers weeks prior to the event to ensure there would be no surprises about our hospitality, production or the site’s geographic location. I could also name the hundreds of bands who are satisfied with their experience at Rockfest year after year. Even though I strongly disagree with their over-the-top claims and the way they chose to share their views, I still have tremendous respect for this legendary band and I wish them the best in their future endeavours.
