Ya Red Tide should have ended with episode 5. I thought it was the finale when I watched it and I was fine with it being an open ending. I didn’t need to see how Ursula’s plan worked out or anything. Still really enjoyed it though and I’m excited for Death Valley
acting-wise that's true, but I find both equally as enjoyable so far. Overall it's pretty wild that we got basically a 6-episode season, 4-episode season (with 2 stories side by side within in) 2-episode story (Stories ep 1&2) and the rest of the standalone Stories within the same year
Honestly Death Valley isn’t doing it for me. Still will probably stick it out but I had higher hopes for aliens and after everything in Red Tide except the finale
I thought the ending was fine. I'm glad they didn't try to show the alien takeover of earth. Showing too much is where this show always goes wrong imo. Like if Red Tide had ended with episode 5 and didn't ever show the pill making it to LA, it would've been better for it. Overall I was a fan of this season. I feel pretty similar as I did to 1984 which is that it was just enjoyable tv - no more or less really.
I've been watching this show for 11 years, I know what I am in for at this point, I'll continue watching.
