Red Tide has been the best season since Roanoke for me. Hope that they nail the ending next week. Kinda have high expectations for Death Valley now, which I know is stupid lol
I haven't caught the most recent episode yet, but I have a feeling Red Tide might become a favorite of mine
I love how contained this story is. The limited cast really makes it shine. Can't wait to see how they end it.
Was pretty behind on TV but I just ran through the first 5 episodes over the weekend thinking that the Red Tide finale was #5 but I guess I was wrong! Either way, it's been pretty solid overall, definitely on the upper level of seasons
Right? What was the point of the opening scene with the police chief's body and the state trooper? Why are the most unlikeable characters the ones who survive? Idk. Felt all over the place in general
So what I'm hearing is the usual Ryan Murphy fuckery happens to an otherwise good story, so I shouldn't waste my time?
You gotta just expect the finale to be all over the place and messy at this point, you know what show this is lol
I didn’t hate this a as I expected with the reactions here. It’s far from the one of the worst “finales” and I loved the Alma actress
Yeah the little girl that played Alma did a great job. Looking forward to what she does in future seasons because I'm sure Murphy will want her back.
Y'all were right, Red Tide ended in a complete mess. It's like they try and tie up all loose ends in the messiest way possible and make things more confusing. Like wtf happened with the investigation into the town after they found the Police Chief? What was the point in moving to LA and showing the fallout from the pill? I feel like when Murphy tries to show wide spread ramifications for stuff, he loses me. Stick to the smaller story and location, that's when the show is at it's best.
