Murder House has always been my favorite season, so it was nice to revisit that setting and the episode was pretty good. With that being said I hope these stories start to stand on their own a bit more going forward
whoever plays Ruby is by far the worst actor/actress they’ve ever had on the show and it wasn’t even in the top 10 worst things I thought about those two episodes.
I enjoyed the first episode, thought he ended well and could've just stopped there. 2nd was fine just not nearly as strong imo
Yeah Ruby and the mean girls were all pretty terrible actors lol. Thought Scarlett's was fine, but she was a lot better in The Vast of Night
Honestly, I thought the 2-part Stories was just as good, and just as bad, as any normal AHS season. It was cheesy but fun, the dead girlfriend was an atrocious actor though, blonde dad wasn't great either
Has anyone else never completed a full season of AHS? I love the queer representation that AHS brings but Ryan Murphy just loses the plot way too quickly in this series. Too many sub-plots get introduced and never resolved. Also, his dialogue has gotten noticeably more cringey the last 3-4 seasons.
I have found that the latest seasons severely drop off after the main points are kind of established and the fallout or whatever starts. I think this was an issue earlier on but not nearly as bad.
Yeah, it’s pretty expected for them to lose the plot during the later episodes of each season. I have started and gave up on a few of the later AHS seasons, some I didn’t give much of a chance. Haven’t seen the new format yet but I hope fewer episodes per “story” will be better in terms of keeping the direction steady
Episode 3 kinda sucked, maybe I just don't care for the zombie genre, but that was a slog to get through
