Couldn’t seem to find AHS:Cult forum page anymore? Anyways, haven’t finished the finale yet but just wanted to read some thoughts

We are going to watch the finale tonight. Excited, but hate it’s already the finale.

I haven't watched this since like the first episode. Is it worth catching up on the season?

I think it gets better after episode 2 or 3, but I would say it’s pretty enjoyable and if you had time I’d lightly recommend it. It’s not a must see season of tv this year, but if you enjoyed the other seasons so far, this is a fun watch.

I’ve enjoyed this season more than the last 3-4.

Oh, wow, didn't know we were at the finale already. Will have to watch that tomorrow, Mr. Robot comes first :)

And I've enjoyed this season. Probably third worst, beaten by Freak Show and Hotel for worst. But, Freak Show is really the only season I just plain disliked.

  8. Finale was good, season got very good after the first three episodes with a few series standouts

probably my favorite season since Murder House and Asylum

Definitely turned out to be one of the strongest seasons of the series

Felt the finale perfectly tied up all the existing story arcs.

Loved how Beverly was the one to end up killing Kai. I really wasn’t sure she was going to make it another day after how she’s handled herself the last couple episodes, and more recently - the kitchen scene.

What a journey that must have been for Sarah Paulson playing the damaged, terrified woman the first half of the season and then seeing her character do a complete was 180 was really enjoyable to watch.

I guess Ally is now running her own Valerie Solanas cult. turds

Evan Peters just continues to amaze me. What an extremely talented actor.

So there are two seasons left, right? While I am very much looking forward to those, it will be nice to see this series come to an end.

@airik625 why do you think it's ending? Pretty certain I've never heard of an end date for it

Didn’t Ryan Murphy suggest there would be 9 seasons to represent the nine circles of hell?

I thought the 9 circles of hell thing was just a fan theory, but could be wrong

Gutted that Lily Rabe and Denis O'hare's streaks are over but was very happy with the ending and the season in general.

Who hated it? It seems this thread was mostly positive and the internet rumblings I have seen like it also

This may have been my third favorite season. My only real complaint is that Allie just forgives Beverly for everything and Beverly completely gets off the hook. I guess the idea is she endured so much that she basically paid her penance, but there was a point where she was gleefully partaking in murders on the show and I feel like they just kind of swept it under the rug so there'd be one more person to root for. I know they address it, but it just doesn't feel believable to me that Allie would be inviting Beverly to her sons birthday party. I also want to know what actually happened to the mole (can't remember his name). Did Allie really kill him? Or did she use his recordings to go to the police with. I don't know basically typical AHS stuff where it just got a little messy, but overall I really liked it. Definitely my favorite since Coven.

Next season is apparently going to be set in the future. The future crossover season has been outlined, but won’t happen until next year because of the cast not being available.
