actual potential spoiler: I saw a post on Twitter with side-by-side pics of Ally and one of the clowns wearing the same striped shirt
Well i will not read this because I don't want a spoiler haha but i'm sure it's an insightful comment.
The therapist has to be a big part of this whole thing, right? He's the only person with direct access/knowledge of the fears
Yeah. The part that stuck out to me was when the neighbors show her the new hives - they knew it would activate her fear of small holes.
I’ve stopped watching shows that have commercials when they sit live. Normally I’ll wait until the next day and download it. Commercial breaks every five to ten minutes just completely take me out of the show.
I record it and watch it after usually. Hopefully I can get to it tonight. I'm behind on studying, so we'll see.
I haven't watched a show "live" in years. Even if I watch a show the night it airs, I will wait 6 minutes into airing to watch a half hour show or wait 18 minutes into airing of an hour episode, just so I don't have commercials
Especially with a show as long as AHS, I tend to start it late enough to be able to fast forward through commercials on my DVR as well
Wow. I know it's not saying much, this season has been fine, but that episode was the best so far by a country mile. Evan Peters is too good for this show. Gathering my thoughts and theories now.
I enjoyed the first three episodes but this weeks really kicked it up a notch. It's going to be interesting to see how far the Cult ends up going. I'm starting to think Ally will end up supporting Kai after him being nice to her last week and seeing him say he will "deal with the clowns" on the news (next weeks trailer).
Evan Peters is too good for this show yes, but how fucking good was Billy Eichner in this episode!?!? The Ivy/Winter connection actually caught me by surprise and I'm interested in why every other character seems to be focusing on harassing Ally, hoping it's more then just trying to get her into the cult
I was really wondering why the heck the cult followers were using the clown costumes on other victims when it's Ally who fears the clowns. Interesting coincidence that Meadow just happened to design clown costumes beforehand. Was this attack on Ally planned earlier than we thought? I'll admit, I hated the first episode but the rest of the season has been really good. (I also think I enjoyed this most recent episode so much because we don't have Ally flipping out every 5 seconds. Was happy to see more character development from other characters)
Very cool episode, loved seeing them swap up the format real quick and show us from Evan Peter's charater's point of view, and behind the scenes of the cult essentially
And although Emma Roberts basically plays the same character in.... everything, I really enjoy it haha
Ivy's motivation...what is it? You don't just wake up one day and decide to terrorize your wife like this, or let people terrorize your wife like this, even if you'd already done something violent like taser and handcuff/tape your molester to a pipe so he couldn't vote. And even if she did vote for Jill Stein. I need to watch these episodes again with the context that Ivy's in the cult. Also Chaz Bono is coming into his own on this show. I like it.
Oh whatttttt, I had zero idea that was Chaz Bono, haha. Yeah he was totally solid during that arm cutting scene, fuckkkk
Finally watched Tuesday's episode. Definitely a nice change of pace. Not quite sure where it's going to still, but I'm definitely enjoying the ride. Still don't believe Winter and Kai have the same end game.
