The political aspect is intriguing but I'm afraid it will only work if the show sticks to the trashy fun route and doesn't try to say anything too deep for its own good
I didn't notice until now that their seasons coincide with the year, starting with season 1 in 2011. Pretty cool that they'll continue to do so until season 9 in 2019.
I wonder if there is supposed to be something going on with Emma Roberts and Alison Pills characters. They are dressed very similar. Edit: Duh, maybe that's the cult
Yeah, my biggest hangup is them using the actual election and not a fictional one as the backdrop for the story, but there's potential for that to make things even more interesting. Looks like they're also drawing from the creepy clown sightings that went on last year. I'm cautiously optimistic. Time to rewatch Freak Show and finish Hotel.
