I might have to watch it for Billy Eichner, but idk with Lady Gimmick still stinking it up I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it all the way through.
Lady Gaga in Hotel was extremely boring to watch. I get that her character was written to be nearly emotionless, but that doesn't make her a good actress. She had the same sly-ass "dark" look in every single scene, I did not find anything about her performance enjoyable
I think this partially stems from your bias towards her. You've never really enjoyed her stuff before, so you were kind of set on not liking it before it started. Could be way off though.
I'd say that it might be part of it, but I actually thought she was tolerable in Roanoke. She was barely in the season, but at least her character was interesting to me
I guess it's just a matter of taste. Roanoke cared too much about its execution that it forgot about developing its characters. It's not that I wanted to like them, it's that I wanted to care. I cared about almost every main character in Hotel because the season spent less time developing its lore and more time developing its characters. I won't deny that Roanoke was very well executed (and actually scary for once!). It's just not what I look for in this series.
Yeah her character's role in Roanoke was very minor. However, for what screen time she did have, I thought she was alright. Though, that character could have been played by seemingly any actress ha.
Hard to say, being on two Ryan Murphy shows is far from uncommon. But it's still not looking likely to return with zero intel from Fox or anyone
I saw somewhere recently that Emma all but confirmed SQ was done and she had moved onto something else
