I still don't know the difference between wes bentley, finn witrock, cheyanne jackson, and a few others i probably forgot
Finn Wittrock is recognizable because of the Freak Show season. I think Dandy is one of the best characters this show has done
Thats what I love about this season, the rest of the actors blend into the story and don't stick around long enough to try to steal the spotlight
I'm catching up on my Price Peterson recaps, and though I usually like his images more than what he actually writes, this cracked me the hell up:
Just got around to watching Chapter 8. Abiut halfway through I realized that Calamity Jane from Deadwood, is playing Mama Polk haha. She always does a great job. 90% of Sarah Paulson's script has been some combination of crying/wailing and saying "oh my god". Hah. She always does a good job.
I thought she did a fine job. Her character is easy to hate and get annoyed by, but I thought she did okay.
I thought for a second her and her friend would get saved somehow, but then I remembered how relentless this season has been
The second half of this season has me underwhelmed, I think there was a lot of potential, but a lot of it just hasn't hit the mark for me. Them always wanting to film everything and waving their phones around kind of takes me out of it. My main gripe with it (as have been with the last 2 seasons) is that it's just not scary. The first one had a great story and really creeped me out. This lacks both as a whole.
This season and Asylum are the only two seasons that have been scary to me. I like season 1 a lot but I never personally found it to be particularly frightening
Anyone else still not think Lee actually murdered Mason? I think that will be the final twist. She just said she did so that her daughter wouldn't always wonder and would be more at peace with her mother's death (not going to be as sad that your mom is dead if she murdered your dad).
Idk, I'm not buying it. I'd be willing to accept the slight possibility that it was something evil on the property that made her do it.
