Was getting a little wary with all the reality tv stuff in the first half, but as soon as we got back to the house and the tension came back, I was good. This season has been pretty solid all the way through so far.
I believe he is untouchable. I think he may be the only survivor. He has a special bond with the character gaga portrayed.
So who's going to be the real butcher? I have no idea who else has been cast for the season. I know it won't be Jessica Lange but OMG if they could keep that a secret, herrrghhh
It would be the greatest. The only female cast member I can think of off the top of my head that we haven't seen yet is Taissa Farmiga, but she's not old enough...and she's probably too old for real Priscilla. Hmm.
Makes me wonder if Taissa is the real version of Gaga's character. EDIT And, now that I think of it, I feel pretty confident that Wittrock will be playing Edward Felipe Mott- I mean, Hell, he's already played a Mott so the family resemblance sticks there.
I'm thinking Mare Winningham. I think she could do really well with that roll. I think Taissa is playing Gagas character.
I'm kind of wondering if Agnes will be the actual butcher. Maybe she is or will later get possessed by the real Butcher?
I've thought about that, or perhaps Gaga's character is the actual witch and somehow got a role in the show
I do not think the "actress" that played the witch is the real witch. But it would not surprise me if gaga did play the actual witch. With the real witch and the actress who played the witch not the same person. Does that make sense? Then again maybe the real horror aspect is whoever stayed in those woods became possessed. We've only met anges who is a real actress and it has changed her. We haven't met any of the others yet besides Evan Peters but it seems as if he stayed in the house. Which then could bring up the possibility that the colony can not kill in the house and only the people who chose to stay there obviously being against the colony can kill there. They colony characters haven't gone inside besides the polks (who made a deal with the colony) and pigman. /rant
Man this season has been so great. Thought this week's episode was by far the best. Can't wait to see the next few episodes and how each person ends up dying. Also, I feel like each episode has gotten more creepy, which is a good thing.
Episode was pretty good, especially the 2nd half. I've really enjoyed this season, but i also feel like this season has kind of progressed slowly, each epsiode feels like it's really gonna go there and get the ball rolling, but I just feel that the payoffs could be better. and although I feel somewhat satisfied with the story, I haven't really felt scared. Also, I remember when the roanoake theme was basically all but confirmed, I pictured it could be really creepy and focus on the colony that was abandoned and having conflicts with Native American spirits, etc. good chance for very scary stories and eerie visuals on the beaches, forests. Basically I wanted to have a very "The Witch" vibe. That would've felt new refreshing. Oh well
I know a lot happened in this ep, but I wasn't totally feeling it. Didn't seem as scary as other eps. The hillbillies are insane, but not that scary. And Shelby killing Matt came outta nowhere for me. I mean, I know she just walked in on him with another woman, but she was a creepy forest demon so you can guess that something strange is going on! And Shelby had already cheated on him too. They had just talked about their marriage being over. Idk, maybe it's just me.
Its funny how the first half seemed more real than the second half (so far), but whatever. I will still watch it.
I dont think she was fully able to forgive him when it happened the first time, even though it wasn't his fault. She probably thought there was still a chance after the cleaver thing but snapped when she realized he didn't give a shit about her anymore...she'd come for him but he hadn't come for her. Plus I think the stress of the blood moon situation didn't help, heh.
