Union Hall in Lakeland, Florida will be the only venue in the entire state of Florida and one of only 13 locations in the entire world that will be showing this film.

Tickets will be on sale on Monday April 28 at noon EST

This isn't just a win for Lakeland. This is a win for all small blue collar towns who rarely get the opportunities of the big metropolitan cities!

We're the only small market showing this film. It's really awesome. 154 seats so this one should sell out. We've never shown a film at our venue so this one is going to be a trial run.

per wikipedia, Elmhurst is considered a western suburb of Chicago

 

it’s just about as far as Lakeland is from Tampa

 

Don't know why they wouldn't just say it's in Elmhurst. On the advert the date is listed as Chicago.

Lakeland is in Polk County. Tampa is in Hillsborough. We are about 36 miles from each other per google. Chicago and Elmhurst are 18.6 miles from each other.

Lakeland would throw a fit if we got labelled as Tampa. We are our own town. We are pretty much right in the middle of both Orlando and Tampa though, so Lakeland is conveniently located for fans from both cities to come out.

 

Oh sick, I can ride my bike to the York Theater. Might have to go to that.

 

Elmhurst is in an entirely different county, too.

We're being pedantic, though. Point is both viewings aren't in the major city nearby.

 

When I was emailing with the director to get the film at our venue, I told them how meaningful it was for our town to have it.

Also, we only got it after the initial five screenings were announced, which included Classic Cinemas York Theatre listed as Chicago

 

One of the venues was late in getting their ticket link sent over, so it's holding up the announcement of the second wave of dates for the Concert Film. Should be posted any moment now.
