This is easily one of my favorite albums from 2019. I also got some cool insight on the beer, since they're collaborating with a local brewery here in Va.

 

This album is just not connecting with me. I wanted to like it because I love all things kinsella and this should be my holy grail.

This album sounds like nothing Mike has done before, but you can still hear classic Mike in it as well. I can't get enough of this thing.

don’t like them either but it’s actually really well done & tasteful here & the kids do an excellent job

 

yeah, the choir part isn't dorky at all like you'd probably expect when you hear "a childrens choir" is on a song.

 

This album is lovely

the early bird record is gorgeous

 

Mine finally arrived yesterday, and I have to agree. It's funny because I've seen people on other forums complain about how it doesn't look enough like the mock-up, to the point that they were cancelling orders and getting a different variant.

As for the actual album itself, I really like it. I'd only listened to Silhouettes until last night, so the other 7 tracks were brand new. Definitely worth the wait.

Part of me wishes I would have gotten the early bird vinyl rather than the deluxe version. That early bird variant looks beeeeautiful!
