This has been great. I was kinda skeptical because I loved the court drama of the first season, but this dude is creepy af.
I’m enjoying this season more than Season 1 which is saying a lot because season 1 was fantastic. But this is creepier and the story is all new to me. I knew nothing about this beforehand.
Yeah, each episode has been better than the previous so far. Episode 3 was great. I was 12 when this all went down so I remember it happening (and being scared that a serial killer was on the loose), but I never really knew the details of the story.
I was 9 and had no idea about anything. I didn't google anything before the show either, waiting til it's done to do any reading
I was 12 in 1997. I had absolutely no idea about any of this. I was 9 when the OJ thing happened and remember it all like it was yesterday.
Really liking the new season, but I just binge watched season 1 this past weekend so I cant help but compare them. I think the OJ trial is so much more enticing because it mattered so much culturally in America, but I’m with everyone else that I didnt know much about the Versace case so learning about it now is great. Criss is super fucking creepy here
There's an underlying theme in both seasons of trying to capture the societal sentiment of their time. In OJ it was in part race relations in America. In Versace it's homophobia. Crazy to think the police investigator couldn't comprehend how Antonio identified as Gianni's partner when interviewing him right after the murder.
That is true yeah. Interesting too that everyone seems to think that being gay means you’re super into BDSM
Anyone know why there isn't a new episode next week? And I didn't realize this season was only 9 episodes.
