Afraid to Go Home on the new Hammock album is soooo good. Maybe my favorite song they've done in a while.
anyone here listen to this Wordclock album? it's insanely good and hard to describe but I guess dark jazzy blended with ritual religious music and ambient/neoclassical vibes
thanks to whoever posted the M. Sage album - lovely been listening to this mini-ep - for fans of Enya or Julianna Barwick etc.
Maybe it’s not technically ambient but currently obsessing over this masterpiece (the title track is truly incredible)
Hyped to check that out. Gonna wait a few weeks for posting my top ambient albums this year. Always listen to this genre a ton in December so there’s still more to discover.
Enjoyed the Jefre and Felicia album a lot, though I still think Limpid is their best one. Here are the other records we mentioned before. The GAS album rules, more in your face than Rausch. I may snag the vinyl. Der Lange Marsch, by GAS
That GAS album is really good. I could see that beeping being annoying but I don't mind it, at least for now. Adds to the pulse, I think. Was intrigued by the fade outs/sudden rejoin with each track transition but when I downloaded from bandcamp it doesn't appear to be the case on the full, uninterrupted album file.
He definitely brought out the beep more with this one, sorta mesmerizing / entrancing. I was also wondering about the fade outs but glad to hear they’re not on the physical/Bandcamp release.
LOVED Limpid but had no idea this was coming, probably because I haven’t been checking this thread regularly enough. It’s stunning so far.
This isn't new at all but it's one of my favourite tracks of the last decade and it never ceases to calm me.
