The Chihei Hatakeyama record that @OotyPa posted the other week is just lovely. Played it a bunch of times.

 

Finally getting into that Loscil album. Very nice

 

This stunning thing dropped recently. Highly recommend.

The new Midwife album is absolutely incredible. Not really ambient but I think most of you in here would be into it.

I’m a sucker for any ambient/drone music featuring cello, so I, of course, really liked this on first listen this morning.

and "new" Chuck Johnson, recorded between Balsams and the more recent The Cinder Grove

y'all ever hear this before? i somehow remembered having listened to this a bunch in high school but it's nowhere to be found other than on youtube. really excellent beat-oriented ambient/trip-hop album, surprisingly diverse as hell and goes places you wouldn't expect. highly recommend
