I listened to Mary Lattimore's Hundreds of Days for the first time in a year or so because I was going through my records and forgot I had that one. So beautiful.
While Hundred of Days is really good, Silver Ladders from 2020 was even better. It's a masterpiece to be honest.
His bio kind of makes me hate him... "His research is at the intersection of conceptual art, intangible sculptures and the refining of acoustic non/senses. Touching both the fields of digital immediacy and analog evanescence, Wladimir Schall spreads schall like spores." ...but I'm half way through this and I really like it.
Seems like there's a lot to listen to today. Currently digging into this new Illuvia record. Warm ambient-dnb vibes. Really cool if you dig shit with percussion.
Just wanted to let everyone know that this Friday is another bandcamp Friday. Here's a great new collaboration featuring lots of pedal steel: Michael Grigoni, Chihei Hatakeyama and Stephen Vitiello - Earth Awhile New anthène is great too: anthène - away from your shadow Also, the Jusell, Prymek, M. Sage, and Shiroishi jazzy collaboration from last year got a sequel: Jusell, Prymek, M. Sage, and Shiroishi - Setsubun
Really dig those Owl and Frog of Earth records. New Chuck Johnson is out. Lovely stuff in the same vein as his recent work.
