not entirely sure how it works but I'm always down for more community surrounding ambient. this was my top genre this year

in other news, new Helios album is out!!! He released a drone record this time around and it’s absolutely serene. Stayed up to listen last night and I’ll be spinning it all day today

The new Helios has been on repeat for me. I hope he eventually releases a vinyl because the textures are seriously gorgeous. Might make my top ten of this genre (which was totally stacked this year).

Still gotta listen to that Johnny Nash. Gonna go in today. Currently digging this record rn from a couple years back. Hauntingly beautiful and excellent. Check it.

 

@OotyPa Did you ever listen to FUJI|||||||TA? the debut iki or KOMORI? Amazing stuff that kinda got overlooked.

Matt Lajoie - Paraclete Tongue (this came out yesterday!)

I highly recommend subscribing to his awesome label Flower Room, tons of great releases.

This Jason Calhoun/Foresteppe collaboration is also great.

Khyex - Sparrowing (some nice acoustic guitar mixed in)
