I’m seeing William Basinski perform the Disintegration Loops with an orchestra at the Art Institute of Chicago tonight

can’t even put into the words what it means to me

un fucking believable

like time stopped and the world disappeared, and it was just us there and then

 

beautiful multi-layered drone album. worth checking.

spacious guitar-heavy ambient record. drifting off to this as i type this. really lovely.

Hi friends, posting a lot of stuff here since I've got a lot of free time which means lots of ambient.

I've never heard of this guy before now, but it's really great. Mastered by the fantastic Rafael Anton Irisarri.

These are also great.

 

He's one of Barn Owl. Who aren't really ambient, but great nonetheless.

 

New Deaf Center in a couple of weeks. One of my favourite ambient acts, really looking forward to it.

 

There is a ton of ambient out on March 15th. The best being the final stage to The Caretaker; Stage 6.

 

This is out tomorrow along with the new William Basinski.

 

Guys, check these albums out for a wild ride. Both have parts that remind me of Rainforest Spiritual Enslavement and others remind me of The Caretaker, sprinkled with a side of Jon Hassell.
