Literally just read about that album on some website, A Closer Listen? Gonna give it a listen tomorrow. (Soaking in that Max Richter today.)

Max richter album was bomb but nothing will ever top Blue Notebooks for me

 

Listening to the new Second Woman EP, also revisiting Belong.

 

Bump, still waiting to listen to the new Majeure LP 'Apex'.

 

I listened to this guy's music way back when i first started getting into ambient. it's some fantastic stuff, mixes downtempo w/ ambient, some drum&bass, some jazzy moments. every song is different, but an ambient vibe throughout. can't find it on any sharing site, and only a few of his songs are on youtube now which is a shame

 

I have his album North Source, do you need it?

I don't mind field recordings, but calling it the year's best ambient is a bit rich, haha.

That being said, I like this!

 

I agree @ahabian, the year is so young and will feature some epic releases we don't even know about yet!
