70's (ambient) dub-reggae. can't believe I'm only just now getting into the Upsetters. huge blind spot for me.

some good old windy & carl. I love them every time I throw them on but never gave them too deep a listen. listened to this one for the first time recently and it was transportive. really need to give their stuff more attention.

Also I was talking to a friend yesterday about a buddy of mine who makes some of my favorite ambient tunes and realized I haven't shared here:

Sacred Canopy is a duo now and I'm excited to see what they do next, their live sets have been very cool

 

gorgeous 90's ambient-jazz by jazz bassist Eberhard Weber. digging through his discography and it's all very beautiful

also from the 90s! not quite ambient, moreso chilled out post-rock. Adam Wiltzie was in this band. very good stuff

 

As if by magic today I got a chance to listen to the new stuff and it is real good, I'll post here when it's out for real.

This is fantastic. Supposedly released sometime in the early 2000s.

Do follow that YouTube channel. They don't post too often but when they do it's usually an obscure old gem.
