Seeing them at Thalia Hall Nov 3. Never been so stoked to see a band play!

 

The verses are so gosh darn good on this one.

The first 30 seconds of "Not My Baby" is pure bliss and quite frankly I wish it didn't speed up as the song kicks in. I want to live in that intro forever.

This album is such an improvement from the first.

 

They killed it last night in Boston. Place was packed, too.

 

I was going to drive up but I had to work today. Bummer, maybe next time

 

Yeah they were so good. So sick they basically played the entirety of both albums. And couldn't believe the level of sold out the paradise was either.

I finally listened to this properly. It's quite good, but something is missing from it that I loved on the debut. I can't pinpoint it exactly, but I know for sure there is nothing on here that impacts me like Archie or Party Police.

I absolutely adore Plimsoll Punks, it's so cool to hear this band take a direct punk influence on a song. Hey has some sick New Order vibes. Your Type and Lollipop are really cool too. Silly to have waited so long to listen again, since I really dug it at the listening party.

 

one of those albums that is super hit or miss for me but the highs are so high that it's one of my top of the year.

plimsoll, lollipop, dreams tonite, in undertow are all soty material

 

ya nevermind this thing has grown a ton on me. i think the only song i dont really jive with is hey...but the rest is so good. its been on repeat here lately.

also think the opening half is as strong as any other a side put out in 2017.

 

Saved By a Waif and Forget About Life are a great pair to close this out

 

saved by a waif is so underrated. that cascading chorus is magical.

 

This has grown on me a lot since it was released. Saved by a Waif and Plimsoll Punks are definitely my favorites. The two singles before the album came out are standouts as well.

Sorry to anyone who thought there is news from this band after seeing this thread bumped

but I still listen to both of their albums regularly and I’d really love to get another one!!!!

 

I’m on my way to a lavender garden festival on the freeway, stoned, and listening to Antisocialites .. it really is a good n beautiful album.
