Any Alt-J fans here? They've just announced their new album called Relaxer and it's out June 2nd. First single, "3WW" featuring Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice is at the bottom of this post followed by a second song, "In Cold Blood".

This might be one of like 10 bands I just ignore the lyrics and listen to the groove.

Stoked

 

It's a good song. Just a bit underwhelming/unexciting for a first single, sounds similar to any other Alt-J acoustic song. A bit of an unpopular opinion, but I remember being so stoked after "Hunger of the Pine" came out. Pre-ordering nonetheless because I trust them (lol) and again, I like the song just not what would I have chosen for a first single (assuming there are upbeat songs on this).

Fun fact: female vocals come from Ellie Rowsell of Wolf Alice.

This is one of my most-anticipated of 2017. Can't wait to hear it all!

 

Love this track, definitely more than the first one. Still dig the first one though, this album's shaping up nicely

 

Pretty great, think I like the first one a bit more as of right now. Glad it has a different vibe though. Album's lookin' good.
