Damn I need to listen to this again. I really loved this album but it fell out of rotation really quick because there have been so many damn releases since for me x_x

Album feels more relevant now than when it came out hah

 

I know it's maybe not the most popular of opinions, but I think each album of hers has been a bit worse than the last, her first was really something special.

Collexion I > Collexion II > Super Sunset > Cape God

I still enjoy every album but I feel like she keeps shedding a lot what makes her unique. Collexion I feels like something only she could make whereas most of this album is enjoyable but faceless

 

I’d actually rank them the exact opposite. Don’t return to the debut all that much, but I did hear it a few months after Super Sunset came out

I’d add Bitch and Never Enough. I still like the album, it’s just the one I’m least likely to pick when I’m in the mood for her. I’ll give it another go for sure.

 

I guess for me I really find that album to be unique. Sure it's not as like... complete of a thought as the albums after, but it's different. When she came out with the first album there was a whoa moment of "this may be the next big thing," and then each album after that, the momentum was lost and her music became more... vanilla, for lack of a better word.

 

Never Enough is still such a jam.

I don’t think the latest clicked with me as much as I’d have liked but I’m going to do a full discography run again soon I think.
