The new songs are all pretty good. This is shaping up to be a fun pop rock album. My only gripe with the four songs is that I wish part of the melody in the chorus on Renegades was a little different so that it flowed smoother. I feel like that chorus should really be bigger. Small gripe though. Album cover aside, I really like the aesthetics and visuals with their videos for this cycle.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

I think the chorus on Last Young Renegades is the best thing about all 4 of the songs! What would you want different? Haha

I don't necessarily love the actual image of the album art (I think the character is a little corny), but I actually really like the aesthetic it presents. When I listen to an album I kind of see it as the colors on the album cover, but not necessarily the image itself, so the color scheme is more important to me than anything, if that makes sense.

And also I'm a fan of the grimy late night theme of the music videos. I'm interested to see how they translate all that on tour.

It's really just with the melody when he sings "night" and the specific way it's dragged out. I think it's still a really big chorus, but I don't like that particular part. I realize "goodbye" follows the same pattern, but it doesn't bother me as much (still don't love it though). The chorus gives me a "Shut Up and Dance" vibe and I think that chorus is executed better.

Yeah, I feel the same. I respect what they are doing and think they are all real cool guys and very talented. I just cannot get into this at all. Hard to listen to for me.

Woah that's a cool music video too. Loved when they got to Thames St.

Backseat Serenade is fine but nowhere near their best song. At least half the last album is better.

My vote may go to Cinderblock Garden for their best song.

Backseat Serenade is not my favorite but I definitly think that the first four tracks on Don't Panic (including Backseat Serenade) are their strongest songs, great sequencing too

Definitely my favorite song from the last album. That album was right there with Nothing Personal for me. The songs that hit me I was really into, but then there are some that I don't revisit much.

My favorites from the last couple albums are Outlines, For Baltimore, Missing You, Cinderblock Garden, and Tidal Waves. Overall thought FH was a big step up from DP

Missing You, Cinderblock Gardens, Backseat Serenade, Irony of Choking, For Baltimore are some of my favorites from the last 2. Me Without You is great too. To go any further back than that would just be pointless for me, because I'd just start to pick like half of every album.

I feel like I missed something with Don't Panic. I didn't really connect with that album. I certainly enjoyed it more than Dirty Work, but I don't really go back to DP. If I want that sound, I go to the earlier records.
