There were only three songs I wanted to listen to again right away, but I attribute that to three of my personal favorites being singles I had already played out.

This was really good. Feel like I'm going to need to listen a bunch more times before I can render a final decision but I like it a lot after the first listen. "Nightmares" - "Dark Side of Your Room" - "Ground Control (feat. Tegan and Sara)" is a helluva run.

Really wish they'd score a #1 with this one, but I think Halsey scraps all hope.

Yea and this is a crazy release week in general. Bleachers, Halsey, Dan Auerbach, and Alt-J are all pretty large names, and that's not even everything. Hopefully they just have consistent numbers with Future Hearts though. I think it'll do really well still.

    Better than Future Hearts imo.

I never had any idea Halsey was that big.

Probably will get a huge boost from being on the Chainsmokers song.

I'm actually enjoying this a fair amount (half way through). Also, I can't believe ATL has 7 albums. I always forget how long they've been around.

though she did have a #1 album before that even happened

  12. I respect the direction they're going but it's not for me. I found this pretty boring.

Nightmares is pretty awesome. I think some distorted guitar in the final big chorus could have really helped give it a bit more punch, though.

Nice2KnoU is still pretty easily my least favorite. Those "oh oh oh ohs" are kind of grating. Not a bad song though, and it could still grow on me from here.

A bit short, but a great album! I think it got the cohesiveness that was lacking on Future Hearts (still love FH though). I guess I'll have to find those two japanese bonus tracks somewhere. I didn't find the How the Story Ends bonus track last time (it wasn't a japanese track though)

I'm really surprised people dislike Nice2KnoU so much. I've still only heard the first 4 songs released (saving this for after work today), but Nice2KnoU is probably my 2nd favorite next to Dirty Laundry out of those.

This is solid. I'm glad they've embraced this direction, it's perfect for them.

pretty bored by this actually. nothing's bad really but nothing elevates to the heights of some of my favorites songs of theirs

this is definitely the album dirty work wishes it could be though.

I liked this more than I thought I would but still not that great. These songs are going to translate really weird into their sets

I pretty much agree, cool change in production/instrumentation style but none of the songs themselves really get there for me
