I couldn’t agree more. Taking pride in sexualising and collecting the bras of predominantly underage fans for years and years is predator behaviour. Never taking responsibility or addressing this is gross. As this forum educated me, even blink-182 had made comments about how uncomfortable it made them to be engaged in that dynamic with underage fans. I think a little accountability would be nice here.

Meh. Wakes Up, Sunshine is still their best album and collection of songs.

Also, what’s up with the children’s look they’ve got going on. Solid color jumpsuits, alphabet magnets….strong wiggles vibes.

Yeah this shit is genuinely bad, Wake Up Sunshine gave me some hope for this band musically again but essentially everything after that (both musically and not) has been garbage

Didn't realise this was out tbh (haven't been following ATL closely since the allegations). Sugar came up and that song is solid but I am a fan of JoJo.

 

title track is solid but most of this album I can’t really get in to

 

The title track's lyrics are subtle

 

Sugar is a banger and then I thought 'hmm, maybe I slept of this' until the next song came on with a Taco Bell lyric and I immediately switched off haha.

I liked this album though, again, it seems like their ascent in the U.S. has completely stalled out given they've been shadow banned media-wise. U.K./Europe/Japan is another story.

 

What does that even mean? They were on national television playing a Savannah Bananas game. They played a Ravens halftime. They're not shadow banned lol

 

Ah I didn't realize. I mainly meant I don't see any U.S. press about them anymore but maybe that's changed?

 

Youtube and Spotify put up billboards for the new album too

 

Your point is valid. Last album didn't even chart on the BB200 but it did in the UK.
