“The Weather” is pretty interesting for them, I am not really into their music much for an extended variety of reasons, but even sonically i’ve disliked essentially everything since “Sunshine” until this one.

What did people on here think about Tell Me I'm Alive? There wasn't really any discussion about the album on here at the time because of their legal situation.

I know they're all getting older but I do think it's funny Alex is looking noticeably older post Sunshine in particular lol

Band still threw away all the goodwill they had, hope it flops as much as their last one did

I think this band is huge in Europe/UK/Japan so don't imagine it'll be a holistic flop but they've been essentially blacklisted by the U.S. media.

Oh for sure, they'll never be a true flop but even outside the US their last album did worse on the charts than Sunshine.

Sunshine was really gonna be a turning point for them and they just wasted it

Sucker punch came up on my recommendations the other day. Was baffled to find out it was them. Terrible song.

haven’t listened to the new one yet

Yeah for this tour, in the UK, they are playing the biggest venues in the areas (Arenas). The last time they played a venue this size was a co-headliner with You me at six... 10 years ago. They do sell out the venues the level below pretty consistently. However, it is a jump from 2k/3k capacities up to 8-10k capacity now.

Mayday Parade & FYS do make for a decent line up. On reflection, perhaps kind of smart support acts? They might not draw more ticket sales from a different fanbase, but might draw out oldies like myself from the So Wrong Its Right era out to see these bands.

Ive got a soft spot for em, seen em as a 3rd support for plain white t's in a 200 cap club back in the day. Love Rian Dawson on drums. Put on a good live show. Admitedly, cant say after So Wrong Its Right they have had an album that i would go out my way to listen to in full again.

Yeah they were found innocent. And this isn't the accountability thread.

Innocent or not, their recent music had been about as exciting as that album cover

Ah good to know a probe done by the bands own lawyer counts as being found innocent. Totally doesn’t sound fishy lol

we missed the trees glow gold beneath.

the american justice system has of course always handled cases like this with dignity and respect towards the victims and there's definitely not a very recent world event that proved that!

  24. also watch 5 minutes of "Straight to DVD" and the behavior pattern is extremely obvious

  25. seriously I was like 13 when I saw that shit and I turned out alright but they shoved a wild amount of innuendo into a movie essentially made for their teenage fans
