(Also: Can we stop billing Myth Live as if it's in St. Paul when it's in Maplewood, a mid-ring suburb? We could just bill it as Twin Cities instead.)
These venues seem way too big for this. ATL/SWMRS/Waterparks barely did 1,800 last summer in my area and now they’re playing a 10,000 cap amphitheater.
Says Leg One, so I really hope this ends up hitting Chicago after Lolla because I really want to see them do another full headliner in support of LYR. I'm scared Afterglow and Dark Side are going to be 2 of the first ones cut for their Lolla set. I thought they would do a Lolla aftershow, but that seems less likely now, since they play 8/2, and have tour dates 8/3, 8/4, and 8/5. I guess I will be patient and see whatever Leg 2 is before I do something reckless Edit: Scratch all that panic, they played Afterglow and Dark Side at Shaky Knees and had the same amount of time, so I'm probably going to survive this.
Dashboard did play MSG a long time ago, Their popularity decreased and they are as big as ATL right now probably.
Dashboard is not THAT popular. They're about the same size bands right now, but Dashboard will bring more casual fans to these big venues with deeply discounted tickets.
Kind of what I'm getting at. Although there's obviously crossover, Dashboard has a lot more nostalgia than ATL and therefore is gonna bring in a lot more of the casual market, helping to push those numbers up. Kinda reminds me of when they toured with Third Eye Blind a few summers ago, at least business-wise.
A lot of my friends that don’t really go to shows are gonna go to this for Dashboard. I’m really happy this is coming close to me.
All Time Low is finally headlining in Toronto again. this is a great day. they haven't since the co-headliner with Yellowcard in 2013.
This is pretty much why I'm going. I really love the new record, especially Afterglow. I'm assuming that this tour is kind of like that Sleeping With Sirens tour they did where it was a "co-headliner" but ATL played longer.
Dashboard can barely fill house of blues sized venues now a day, these will be on Groupon in no time.
Gonna wait for Leg 2's announcement if it comes any closer to my area but if it doesn't ill hit up Indy
Baltimore will sell out in minutes, as usual for an ATL hometown show. It’s ridiculous how huge they are here.
