I will note it’s not that they turned into a thrash metal band or anything, still strong melodies through this all. Very much still an AGO album.

 

I saw James mention on Reddit that it's heading into mixing soon, so it sounds like we still have a bit of a wait. This might be my most anticipated album this year....

 

Absolutely love every record AGO has put out all for different reasons. Excited for the hype about a return to a louder sound, although I'd take folk-ish all day, maybe that means more Hussey in the future.

Still remember when I first listened to The Season thanks to them releasing on Favorite Gentleman. Movement doesn't get mentioned enough though, that EP is just as good as any of the records.

 

Rightfully so. With the risk of just repeating myself, it’s incredible.

 

I love Hussey too. Hitchens is a beautiful record.

 

if you could give him a nudge to put hitchens on bandcamp that would be awesome. feel like i've only listened to that album once or twice since there isn't a great place to buy it digitally

 

Just in case you aren’t following the album thread, the new album comes out tomorrow!

 

Part of me wants to wait til Friday so the band gets more money (Bandcamp still does that right?) from the purchase but I don’t know if I can wait that long

 

If I'm not mistaking, the next Bandcamp Friday will be December 5.

Even though I prefer the alt-country side of All Get Out, this is still very good, and still has some of those elements here too. Fans of all eras of this band should find something to enjoy IMO.

Favorites off my first listen are Yadi Yada, Out Of Your Mind, and Enough About God.

New album is really good, listened to it a few times over this week so far.

 

That hussey album is an absolute treasure. Fall staple for me.
