Really cool to see Aaron and Nathan teaming up again. This is at least the 3rd tour they’ve done together. I wish it was Underoath, but we know that’s unrealistic lol. What’re the odds AGO gets a set lengthier than 7 songs for this one?
I think you’d have to ask them, but I know of no such plans. Very cool to see them do a show together though!
I went to see them last night and apparently almost the entire band had the stomach flu so Nathan played solo. It was pretty great.
I ended up going to the DC show. Sounds like he played pretty much the same thing. Here’s a phone voice memo recording of the full set: Dropbox - All Get Out 20200110 Union Stage.m4a - Simplify your life
I’m listening right now and so far it’s literally the same, all the way down to introducing himself as Aaron Gillespie and the Rilo Kiley verse before “Get My Cut.”
They were absolute fire last night in Cleveland. Only played 6 songs which was surprising to me but it was still great.
I think they were playing 1-2 more to start the tour, kinda weird they dropped them. Still, excited to see them tonight. I try to travel to their headliners on off days or just one off gigs when they’re in my general vicinity because their support sets are short and I need my fix lol. Unfortunately, they didn’t have a date near me that made sense with my schedule right now.
This dudes are so tight now. They go through the set so effortlessly but are still having fun and throwing unique wrinkles into the songs. Saw them headline last night and it was great. Trip was the shit.
