this definitely covers new territory. love the guitar riff at the end. The chorus is a nice hook.. the half time feel at the end is nice. This is the "poppiest" thing they've done yet but its good, going to try to hold off playing it again until the record comes out.
This feels like a perfect blend of the Season and Nobody Likes a Quitter. That bridge is breathtaking, too. I'm really happy with it.
I like the song, but it makes me less optimistic that we're going to get the heavy AGO record some of us are craving.
Yep. This feels like a NLAQ song through the lense of The Season. Absolutely not trying to imply that Nathan didn’t achieve what he wanted with NLAQ, but this song immediately feels to me like what a lot of that record tried to do and couldn’t properly execute
Hopefully there’s something to scratch that itch on the rest of the record since they said this is the “nicest song” haha
Yeah, wasn't exactly sure what to make of that, but that's why I still have hope haha. I'm sure I'll enjoy it either way. I just find myself not going back to NLAQ as much as I do The Season and Movement, and selfishly I'm hoping for another record that clicks a little more with me.
It's hard for me to pick a favorite between the four releases - really. It sorta just depends on what mood I'm in, and I like them all about the same. I can understand folks wanting something heavier or something quieter. But I'm glad they have songs that are all across the spectrum.
seems like they're playing 3 new songs on this tour. Threeve, 10, and However Long assuming this one is Threeve:
