If the tour starts end of October you'd think the album will be out by then. The Season was an October release too if I remember correctly.
As a huge AGO fan, I am still crazy excited to be getting a new full length this year. Artwork is great, of course. Curious about this shift in sound -- I trust the band to deliver, so I'm burying any apprehension until I hear the record. Overall though, this announcement gave us very little new information, and after waiting so long that's kind of a bummer. Even just having a release date would be nice.
Description seems accurate with what we've heard so far. Though that was just solo acoustic version in my case.
I've been gone for a couple weeks and I'm just catching up now, but you called it! And I've always been curious about the time they opened for fun. What was the reception like? I can't imagine too many people at that show would have been into them. If I recall, fun. asked Manchester to open for them, but they were booked or in studio or something, so they recommended AGO.
Yep, I got to see that in person. With Audrye Sessions and Winston Audio, if I remember correctly. How the times have changed... On another note, does All Get Out just hate the West Coast? Or do they not think they have fans out here? I don't believe they've ever headlined through California, and it bums me out.
I'm probably far from the first person to point out how ridiculously similar to M.O. they sound, but holy shit you could probably fool some casual fans as to which band is which.
