My man.

I take it you're a fan of the band? Not sure I've ever seen you talk about them but then again I've only started paying attention to them the past two weeks or so

 

Well at least that's news. Hoping for sooner™ rather than later.

 

Yeah, hopefully it's announced soon. I don't care if it's still three months away, a teaser or single or something to get me hyped would be great. I'm also a HUGE proponent of bands having an official release date for when the album drops (online, MP3, CDs) and a different one for vinyl, being that wait times are just crazy long now. From a business perspective and fan perspective, I think it makes the most sense. Anxious fans get to hear the album sooner / the label will get hardcore fans to either pre-order up front or double-dip (get the MP3 download for $5, and then if they really like it they go buy the vinyl once it's released).

 

Another band that I feel was under appreciated is "The Venetia Fair" sadly they broke up... But their last album is unbelievable. 'Every Sick Disgusting Thought We Have In Our Brain' deserves a listen by everyone in this thread.

Please let me know your thoughts not a bad song on there. Think 'Foxy Shazam' during their introducing... era, Panic! at the Disco during their Sweat It Out era, and a lil AGO.

 

It's different. Maybe if I spent more time with this Venetia Fair album I'd like it more, but currently, it's a bit too poppy for me. With that being said, the singer does have a great voice.

 

this is probably my most anticipated for the rest of the year.. or brand new obv, but you never know when the will be done

 

You're a fan of Thrice and Brand New, and All Get Out. I'm starting to think our tastes align a good but. Where should I start with AGO?

 

just listen to The Season straight through. Then Movement, then Nathan's solo record (Hussey, Ground Me). I don't really like the first ep that came out in 2008.

 

I'm listening to his solo record right now, Good God Damn I love Angry Man

 

At least listen to Coach Connor, Come My Way, and Water & God off s/t.

When Jason makes an appearance in the thread you know the hype train is rolling.

 

I know you're not huge on lots of cursing in music so be warned there is some on The Season. But it is such a good album! All Get Out are one of my favorite bands
