that audio tree session is something special. this band is so relatable for me. i can't wait to see what they have in store for us next.

Had a random thought/wishful thinking moment that the reason the LP is taking so long is because Gordon came back and they re-recorded everything with him. They're still probably my favorite band to see live besides Brand New, but their show lacks a certain something without Gordon behind the kit..
I posted a while ago but the lineup they recorded with was, Mike on bass, Andy Hull/Nate on guitar, I can't remember the drummer's name, but he has a beard and was really nice the two times I met him. Kyle is on guitar now in place of Mel on their tours, but didn't record the new album with them. That should the be lineup unless they re-recorded things, of which I'm unaware.

I hope I get the opportunity soon. So just so I'm clear, there IS an album coming this year it's just a matter of when?
We weren't lying earlier. We are quite literally expecting a lead single and album announcement any minute. Album is done as far as everyone knows.

I first saw them in 2008 opening for MO and they completely upstaged them. Not a sound was made during the quiet part in Let Me Go "Part II" at the time, and I had goosebumps for the entire second half of it.
