Yeah, I rearrange it in my saved files to have the original order in my computer. Free for everyone to do the same!
Hey all, Nathan from the band here. Just wanted to say thank you for the kind words and excitement on this album. I put a lot of me into this and to hear any feedback at all has been overwhelming. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Side B, when? Also, Does a non-Daytrotter full band recording of Time and Place exist and if so may I please have it?
Is it gonna make it to streaming services any time soon? Absolute banger of an album btw, been in the rotation nonstop.
Honestly not sure, I've got the top of it written already but need to make the call on where these songs belong. Time and Place only exist in Daytrotter and here.
The rule for this one is when we get vinyls in hand to ship we start the clock for the full digital release. Hoping for end of January or mid February. Either way it takes about two weeks after that for it to land online. I'll be on tour playing guitar for Matt Maeson during that time so both "releases" will have happened on someone else's tour. How wild is that?
I found that NBT and Yada suffered in the original locations. NBT is a hard sell of a song after hearing the others. You do you!
@nathanhussey - I know this thread is all about the new record (which is incredible by the way. NBT & Skinny are dominating my rotation the last month) but I guess there's no better time than now to ask the man himself if a recorded version of this song could ever find it's way on to a b-sides/rarities release or shall I continue to rack up the majority of views of said YouTube video?
All I have is the demo from when I was a very very inexperienced song writer and pretty bad singer. Like very bad. Edit: I just watched the video. There's no way a studio recording can do that. A live band doing 200 shows a year is whats in that video. Cant beat it, sorry. Dropbox
I've got another tour with Matt and a possible short run of shows in the spring for AGO. If I can come back from all that sane then I'll definitely be doing a Hussey album. More of a demo's type album I think. Your username is the name of my first ever demo. Someone asked for the band name so I just used that.
Nathan! Side A is truly fantastic. It has such a fun energy. Hope you and the band are feeling good about everything. Would love to see y’all again this spring if you can hit the road- promise to bring out as many friends as I can!
Incredible to get that demo, I've watched that video/listened to a rip of it so many times. Thank you!! Side A is so good. I thought rucker was just being a hype man when he said it's the best album but honestly think I might agree. My excitement about it reminds me of being super into the live recordings before LP1
Are there any plans in the future of heading out to Europe. I can imagine you're not that well known around here, but would love to see a show.
