If you guys sign up for Daytrotter, you can hear several unreleased AGO songs that are all real good. I don't know if they're B-sides or what (and one ended up on Nathan's solo record). But they're definitely worth the download.
Right, but Hand In Mine is not one of them. I think it's just Time and Place, Options, The Reason Your Still Alive, and Worth my Every While (which kind of turned into ATX).
So my buddy ran into the guitarist (Kyle?) at a coffee shop tonight. They talked for 5-10 minutes, he said that they’re starting to record the next record in February.
When I spoke to Nathan at the Mayday shows in England he said pretty much the same thing and that they're going for a mix of both albums and Movement
I want the hard gritty reminiscent of the live show record I was promised. Or a studio version of Time and Place, whatever.
I mean if they’re already about to record, Hussey’s gotta be recorded too by now? Or maybe he’s finishing it before AGO recording.
with this turning 1 I decided to listen to it.. I had to listen to it again bc I enjoyed it so much. I really feel like people didn't give this a chance to grow or recognize how good it is. The guitar tones are incredible, the drums sound amazing. Vocals are catchy and fantastic. Amazing album
Yeah I’ve been revisiting this a bit lately. I think I prefer movement and the season, but the couple best songs on here - chasing skirt, whatever, sideways - are up there with their best songs overall
I'm inspired. Will turn it on now. But seriously I still listen to this almost every week sooooo that's nothing new. I still remember the smile I had on my face the first time I turned this on and Room to Talk started.
Now You Got It is so good. Sideways is probably towards the bottom of their entire discography for me though.
ATX, Empty Nest, and Wait List are the only things I ever come back to on this. Maybe I’ll spin it today..
Oh wow really? I think it's such a cool and interesting change up. I remembering when first listening not expecting the change up on the pre-chorus ("I felt unsure") and it immediately hooked me. Also the lyrics during the second prechorus (?) are some of my favorite from Nathan.
