Really surprised this was the song they released. Is the reaction positive in other threads? Seems like people don't like it here — which I guess makes sense. It's my least favorite song on the album though.

 

That's good to know, if it's the worst song than its probably a really good record. Ugh I hate waiting for new music. The reaction is really positive on the news post though

Very glad you posted this, I like this song enough but if it was actually very indicative of the overall quality of the album I'd have been very disappointed. This reassured me haha.

 

Feels like ago does pop punk. Not bad but not what I want out of them. Seems like a good single tho

 

Haha I just don't generally like it. Garbage obviously isn't the right word. I can appreciate the talent.

 

yeah i mean, if you dont like the genre thats fine. but to call a whole genre, one created by PoC to express themselves, and one thats easily the most creative and interesting genre around "garbage" is kind of a bad look. hence why I thought it was weird. nothing against you at all, just a comment on how it can be perceived from the outside looking in.


Now, as far as this new song goes, I really really enjoy it and am now even more excited for this record.

 

Finally got a chance to listen and I like it. I think it's a good song, and I'm sure it will work well in context. I don't think it's as good as anything on The Season or Movement but it could still grow on me, and I have faith in this band and the rest of the record. Jason's comments also have me excited. If this is the worst song we're in for another treat.

You guys are nuts I can't get enough of this song! Love the lyrics, I think the vocal delivery is spot on and while it is a little straightforward it is definitely infectious! I've listened like 20times already.
