Hope I'm not misinterpreting "dream tour" but Nate has toured with MO before, that's the first time I saw them in like late 08.

First or second openers on a 5 band bill (MO, KD, Dead Confederate, and I want to say maybe Junior Astronomers?) and had the entire Variety Playhouse silent during THAT part of "Pt. II". Then he did the "when you look at me" part on Where Have You Been during MO's set and I was hooked.

Not had a chance to listen to that podcast yet, but if he's hinting at finally touring with Brand New I don't even know what I'll do. Been fantasizing about that since the aforementioned show above, haha.

 

They asked him what is your dream tour and he said I can't say it bc we may actually do it... then he said check the internet next week. Also Manchester has been teasing stuff...

 

Oh man! My podcast stream cut out and I didn't bother fixing it but that has be excited.

The early November is incredibly tight live too... would consider throwing them in my top 5

 

The Mountain Goats are the best live band

i've seen a lot of these bands mentioned in here live and most of them were good sets but nothing really eye opening

tbh all get out was the closest to a wow moment

 

From a strictly musical stand point Manchester is incredible live. Seriously the tightest band I've ever heard, also Andy pretty much never misses a note vocally which is really impressive. There are a ton of little things they do dynamically and rhythmically that arnt on the records too that are just unbelievably solid and add so much excitement to the music.

 

yeah they're good, but like, idk, i've seen enough bands it's incredibly hard for a rock band to truly blow me away at this point. takes more than just being extremely tight, i've seen that so many times already, i need to see something new

still haven't seen them but would like to if the cost was low enough (still haven't listened to enough of their stuff to pay the 30+ it usually costs oops)

 

It's worth it even if u don't know a lot of the songs trust me
