Anyone know if these concert live stream things I keep seeing on YouTube actually work?

 

I absolutely love the opening 45 seconds of this album. I mean, I love the rest too, but man, what a way to start a record.

An AGO show without Let Me Go?

I've only ever seen them play it at the record release show for The Season.

 

I was at the St Louis show last night, and seems to be an identical set. He played Wait List solo for the encore as well, but before playing (because somebody shouted it out) said I'm not going to play Let Me Go.

Luckily I saw them play this when they opened on the Mae Everglow tour.

They sounded great and seemed like they all had a blast.

Lastly, I hadn't heard of Gates before this tour, but these guys were awesome. Definitely worth checking out.

 

Man, this album rocketed up my EOY list. Can't stop listening

Yea, we bought Bloom & Breathe along with Parallel Lives. Haven't gotten a chance to sit down and listen yet, but definitely impressed last night.

 

The newest album is a little too quiet for me.
I imagine their next album will fall somewhere in between B&B and PL. And I'll love it.

 

I much prefer Parallel Lives to Bloom & Breathe.

 

Parallel Lives is great. I should revisit it more.

 

There isn't a song on here I don't love.

 

If I can get past my own bias of saying all year that this is my AOTY before I even heard it I'm not sure if it would be my AOTY.... We'll see.

 

this and Cardinal will be duking it out. Also the new YBI will probably be high up as well (if theyd ever send me a damn review stream)

I'm probably looking at All Get Out, Pinegrove, Camp Cope, John K Samson, Microwave, Bazan, PUP in some combination as at the top for me. Then O'Bro, Bon Iver, Kevin, Bryson, Romano, maybe Hotelier rounding it out.

 

Top five? I'll play. At the moment: 1975, JEW, Yellowcard, Joyce Manor, Hotelier.

 

1975, hotelier, diiv. not sure what would round out the other two of my top 5. tim hecker, sumac, oathbreaker, kanye, an autumn for crippled children, danny brown, touche amore, jimmy eat world, idk.

 

It took me a few listens, but I love this record.

 

Not really gonna think about my top 5 yet. This won't make it, but I really really like it.

 

I have a pretty good idea of what my top 5 will look like thus far, but I still have some stuff I want to listen to before the year is over so nothing is final yet. Bon Iver, The Hotelier, The 1975, Jimmy Eat World, Daughter as of now
