Remember when The Season came out and Nathan said he was going to release a b-side album? Pretty sure this was supposed to be on it.
Just an acoustic Daytrotter version that's behind a pay wall and that I can't seem to find on youtube. Edit: I should mention, I think Daytrotter is still only $2/month, and you can cancel any time. Every once in awhile, when there are a few sessions I want to download, I'll buy a month, have a download fest, and then cancel immediately. It's worth it for just the AGO sessions because they've played a bunch of unreleased stuff. A bunch of other great sessions on there too. Double Edit: First 7 days are free, $2.99 a month after that. I probably sound like a Daytrotter shill, but seriously, go sign up, download AGO and MO and whatever other sessions you want, and then bail.
This record is growing on me immensely with every single listen and I really liked it the first time.
This guy manages to simultaneously sound almost exactly Andy Hull (whom I like) and also have a voice that I can't stand. I don't get how this is possible.
and the vinyl is delayed. completely and totally not surprised. EDIT - is it really only delayed a week ?
Bummer, seems like it's becoming more and more frequent that I pre-order a new album these days and the vinyl gets delayed or has some sort of problem. Oh well, it's only a couple more weeks. Album is still killer.
Again, I think the initial no set release date and no preorder were because of potential vinyl delays.
yeah, it's only delayed by like a week haha. not really a big deal at all, especially considering we got downloads a few days early. cool of them to give the head's up, can't count on one hand the number of times other labels/merchandisers have simply left me in the dark.
listened once at the gym earlier this week. excited to spend more time with it now that it is on more accessible sources that don't have ads between every song. Nathan's voice sounds so good on this.
