Wow! I feel like I'm gonna have a huge attachment to this album just based off his description of what the album is about. I can already relate to a lot of what he's spoken about.

 

pretty sure he played the new song solo on the andy/casey tour. chorus is really familiar
song feels pretty straightfoward though, it's alright

Pretty straightforward song, just really a different kind of energy from their previous material. Just happy to have anything at this point haha, I'll surely play the shit out of this song.

 

This kind of feels like the type of song that could fit nicely in context but maybe i won't love as much on it. I've already listened to it three times though so idk

Yea it's straightforward and doesn't do much but the lyrics are interesting and the vocal delivery is really good. Hoping this is in the middle of the record I think it would fit nicely.

It's not a bad song by any means it just isn't as dynamic as we are used to. It's a super straight forward alt rock song. Verse chorus verse chorus verse chorus lol

 

It's weird that we don't have a track listing. I would like to know where this sits on the record. It would be a good opener

 

The Season remains the only song I enjoy by this band.

Lead vocals sound nearly identical to Andy Hull's on this track.

Bring on the new Kevin Devine track.

 

if anything I think song sounds less like Manchester than most of the stuff they have done

 

Disappointing... Waited and waited and waited just for that... Hopefully it grows on me.

Was hoping they'd continue in the heavier direction from Movement, but I kinda like the poppier, upbeat sound. Hopefully we get a good mix of styles on the record.

 

thats what I think it will be. Some softer stuff some poppier things and a few heavy songs
