A good review might help that was a meandering mess and ultimately like it says above I can't even tell if this guy liked he record
This comment is a meandering mess haha. I think Kevin360 was being sarcastic? I thought the review was fine and it was very obvious he loved it.
Haha yeah I thought it was pretty straightforward that he loved it. That's why I posted it. Got my real excited again. Also on a side note, for some reason I just put two and two together and realized you avatar is the Grandfather album art which is one of my favourite records of all time so much respect to you sir.
Wouldn't really call it a review. The majority of the piece talked about circumstances outside or around the record. However, when he did discucss the actual music within NLAQ, he was enthsuastic about it.
Jesus Christ did that guy nail me and my musical taste in that review! 4 months from 30, and obsessed with every band he listed!
It's alright, doesn't bother me! After 11 years of being taken advantage of by under appreciating bosses I've landed my dream job thanks to a random email from someone who saw my indeed resume. Day 3 at the new job making 80k and still get to spend my time BSing on this site lol!
Whaaaaaaat? I thought Antarctica in Color was a huge let down in comparison to their first two. The lack of dual vocals was hugely disappointing. Wish I could listen to Grandfather again for the first time. I still go back and forth between whether I like Grandfather or Foundry more.
I thoroughly enjoyed Antarctica In Color, but it is for sure Mason's poppiest venture (besides Souveneer). I think I like Foundry the least out of the three, but I do admit it has some of their best work.
I'm so confused as to what happened here. Kevin linked a random band called Grandfather, but Lion immediately knew it was Tigers on Trains?
Long Sleeves might be my favourite song ever. But we should really make them a thread and stop talking about it here
