That's cool. I know BTR usually streams all their releases ahead of time, so I'm guessing that will be the same day it streams. I'll have to listen to the new track a few more times before I decide whether I want this on vinyl.
I get the feeling that delays with the vinyl are the reason we've waited as long as we have. I bet they already have them in hand. Curious, has Bad Timing ever had to delay a vinyl?
The ending phrase of the verse in this the exact same melody as the ending phrase in the verses of Forest Whitaker to me go back and listen~ "always starting with the purpose and then I mean right hook, but" (or whatever the lyric is) "with the neighbor next door and his pesky wife"
Yep, I can hear that. I still think it's different enough to distinguish itself. And I like this much more than I ever liked Forest Whitaker.
I mean it's different enough sure but I can't hear that part without hearing Forest Whitaker which I personally like way more
Reading the same convo on the taking back Sunday thread, maybe we are at the point where certain melodies are just going to be reused whether it's accidentally or not
Obviously that's going to happen but you'd think it wouldn't when the other band is the one producing it.
I haven't even listened to it properly yet so I can't chime in! Literally at the doctors right now getting my ears cleaned. Should be able to hear this a little better later! I'm 90% deaf in one ear which blows hard for headphones.
Read that in regular sized rudy's voice. Couldn't imagine wearing headphones and only really hearing one side.
But you can listen to the same song twice and change which ear the headphone is on and it's a completely different experience!! So really I get twice as much music as everyone else.... SOS Looking for a friend. Hey I didn't know there was drums in this song!
Got the light green inside white, I really enjoy the new song as well, but I don't know if this will reach the Season for me.
Well according to a first listen Jason felt that these were the two worst songs on the record, which could mean the album is phenomenal. I really loved this song, loved how restrained it was and then the big ending.
