I like Trip/Wake but so far it hasn’t really stood out over anything else. I always sing it with a huge country accent in my head. Maybe it just doesn’t feel like they are highlights because they are all highlights.
That’s really what it felt like for me. All bangers, no filler. Other albums would have highlights, but this feels consistently great.
ive always loved all get out but was more into their live performances and recorded and had a big thing where i enjoyed them a lot when it came on but would never come back to a lot of their stuff unless prompted. This is their first album for me that I can't stop listening to and keep actively looking to listen more. I can't even really articulate why, the lyrics definitely resonate with me more on this one but I think its more than that as well. I really love self repair also very excited to see how these sound live next week. loving the setlist
I am having such a hard time getting into this record. the vocals are really throwing me off for some reason.
Left my CD copy of this in one of the kitchenettes at work (purposely). Hopefully someone will discover their new favorite band.
For some reason I thought this album was going to be lackluster after hearing the first few singles and man I was wrong
Wish I could order just a shirt from them. And "Namesake" makes me never want to leave my dog alone again.
Dude seriously. I think it was my favorite performance from them. Is it just me, or is that place really LOUD?! Lol
Man. Such a great show. Always makes me sad how small of a crowd he gets in CLE though. Is it like that everywhere he plays?
Come to the show tonight and find out!! It’s like 3 hours from where it was last night. The last time they headlined in MI, the crowd was definitely bigger than the show last night. It’ll be interesting to see what it’s like.
Man I wish I could swing that! It was just a bummer to see such a small venue and not even really filling half the room. .
