At this point every time this thread bumps I’m hoping for a leak or stream.

But it’s just people who already have it. *sigh*

 

I think archives is probably my least favorite on here. I also do wish that there was something a little heavier a la orchestra. Value is probably the heaviest song on the album and it’s one of my top three on here. Really like that sound for them. That said, first contact is probably the softest and that one is great too, so

Archives is fantastic, I love the switch to 3/4 in the chorus. Reminds me so much of early taking back Sunday

 

First contact is the soft one not archives. First contact rules btw

 

First Contact, Namesake, and Wake are still my favorites.

I belt out every line, every time.

 

Wake is a great closer. Love the riff in that one

Excited for this. Except for "However Long", I've only listened to the pre-release tracks once or twice each.

 

Is this more However Long hate?! Lol. I actually love the song... the riff to it is so bouncy in the beginning, it just gets me in a great mood for the rest of the song. People in here, and even the few friends I know personally that listen to them seem to feel it isn’t as good as the others.

 

No definitely not, but that song has been out for what seems like a year and came long before the album announcement so I played it a ton over the summer.
